Lying at the northern-most tip of the Mainland, Fethaland was a haaf (deep sea) fishing station. Now the remains of houses are a monument to the fishing that took place here from the 15th right up until the 20th Century. The “sunrise” version of the cloth has thin pink lines in the weft (picture three below)
Shetland Garden – Width: +/-1.3m. Length available: 2.5m
Although most of Shetland lies above 60 degrees North, the climate is surprisingly conducive to gardening. This cloth was inspired by a garden in Lerwick with very colourful flowers and ornaments.
