Blen – a light wind

STC collection one - 2 (2)

Blen: Shetland dialect for ‘a light wind,’ a reflection of the windmill structure in the centre of the check.

Similar to Lammas, Blen is a playful version of a traditional houndstooth design, with additional windmill shapes giving a modern twist. With bold accent stripes inspired by the flecks of half-hidden colour in Yell’s landscape, this fabric is an interpretation of Shetland’s dynamic coast.

If you prefer a dogtooth pattern with these colours, try Lammas.
